El fotograma es la quinta esencia de la fotografía, el grado cero de la escritura fotográfica. Se trata de desechar cualquier mediación entre la luz y el objeto a representar y de concentrarse por tanto en un puro registro de sombras. A mi me interesa por su aspecto conceptual y ontológico. El fotograma me permite enfatizar la noción de inscripción física, de huella, de rastro. Y paradógicamente nos enseña como incluso, en ese caso extremo, en el que parece que la imagen no ha sido construída, sino obtenida de forma expontánea y natural, la información, la información que conlleva toda imagen, siempre es ambigua y depende de dos contextos: el contexto de la propia imagen y el contexto del espectador.
The photogram is the quintessence of photography, the zero point of the photographic scripture. It is about to throw away any mediation between light and the object to represent and to concentrate though in a pure registration of shadows. The photogram permits to me to emphasize the notion of physical inscription, of a track. And paradoxically it teaches us finally, in an extreme case, that it appears that the image not has been constructed, without having obtained in a spontaneous and natural form the information, the information that brings every image, everytime it is ambiguous and depends of two contexts: the context of a proper image and the context of the spectator.
